The Inaugural WiMCO® Tech Summit a Win!
|
The first ever WiMCO Tech Summit, hosted by the 7x24 Exchange Texas South and Central Texas Chapters, was an astounding success! The two day event, held July 26-27, at The Woodlands Resort in Texas, featured an all female speakers lineup and attracted approximately 200 attendees! The keynote presentation by Rashi Mehta of Rahi Systems kicked off the event and was followed by sessions on networking, end-user perspectives, sustainability, and others. The event included networking opportunities, a golf clinic, and a 9-hole golf tournament in which participants wore tutus! The attendees also left with signed books from Carrie Goetz. Plans are already in the making for next year's event! |

On July 20th, the New England Chapter hosted a sold out Summer FUNdraiser event at Democracy Brewing in Boston, MA. The chapter, recently revived under new leadership, has marked its second event this year. The new, energetic Board of Directors has plans to conduct another education event in November and golf outing next year.
