How I got involved in 7×24 Exchange
My first experience with 7×24 Exchange was attending the Spring Conference in 2016 as a sponsor for the event. It quickly became clear that this organization is committed to advancing the future of the mission critical industry and recognizes the value of its members. Most notable were the speakers who addressed everything from cybersecurity to the importance of working as a team to achieve results. I was immediately intrigued by the event and the networking opportunities the event afforded companies as well as professionals looking to advance in the industry. After the event, I became more involved in the DelVal Chapter.
In May 2017, Sure Power hosted the 81st meeting of the DelVal Chapter; it was an incredible experience. As hosts, we presented a case study to the crowd of 80+ critical power industry professionals. Our experiences with 7×24 Exchange International allowed us to create a networking opportunity that impressed our guests while providing them valuable information about the industry. It was fun to utilize my background in PR and event coordination to further advance the mission of 7×24 Exchange. I’m fortunate to work alongside my father and my uncle who are both so supportive of 7×24 Exchange and the opportunities it provides to our company and employees who are members.

With guidance from other chapter leaders in neighboring states and the support of my local chapter, I hope to initiate a WiMCO community within the DelVal Chapter.
