Agar joined Eaton in his present position in 2004. Before that, he spent 3+ years in the Financial Services industry with American Financial Group as Sr. V.P. and Chief Technology Officer. Until 2000, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry with Aventis where he served in the areas of scientific research, application development, database administration, data center/telecommunications services and global infrastructure development and management. Agar holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Florida Southern and a master's degree in computer science from Villanova University.
