Graduated 1984 in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering & worked for British Aerospace - initially as a systems analyst & latterly as sales engineer - until 1994.
Specialism was aircraft operational performance, particularly related to specialist military roles in Asia.
Joined Caterpillar's engine division in the UK as Business Development Manager, responsible of growing industrial engine sales in China & Asia.
Held a variety of business planning, sales & marketing roles within Caterpillar's Industrial Power Systems Division - most recently Marketing Manager.
Currently on assignment to Caterpillar's Electric Power Division in Griffin, GA - as a Tier 4 technology specialist - to assist with new product definition & introduction activities.
Married, with three children, two dogs & a cat. Note that this does not accurately reflect the pecking-order within the family.
