As Vice President and Firmwide Director of RTKL's Mission Critical Group, Steve Spinazzola offers more than 29 years of experience in both mechanical design and project management on corporate, mission-critical, educational, health and science, retail, and institutional projects. Steve holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from Pennsylvania State University.

Steve is a registered professional engineer in more than 30 states, and is co-inventor of an advanced data center cooling technology that has six patents and is currently being deployed in data centers all over the world. He specialized in HVAC design. Among Steve's impressive list of clients are eBay, Sun Microsystems, IBM, Verizon, General Services Administration, T. Rowe Price, Cleveland Clinic, and Johns Hopkins University. His work has won numerous awards, including the Chief of Engineers Award of Excellence from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the National Ground Intelligence Center.

Steve is active in the engineering community, belonging to such professional organizations as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASRAE), American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), and Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). He is also active elsewhere -- he has participated in 3 triathlons and completed the Baltimore Marathon.
