Mike Healey has more than 20 years experience in the technology industry and is the Chief Technology Officer for GreenPages Technology Solutions. Mike was the original founder of PCBuild Computer Kits, which was sold to Megatech 1995, spinning off TENCorp as a network services provider. The original PCBuild business plan won the Douglass Award for Entrepreneurship and is still featured as a Harvard Business School case study. Mike had directed TENCorp for 12 years, and was the primary architect of the company's ISO certified operations model. He assumed the role of GreenPages' CTO when GreenPages acquired TENCorp in 2006. Prior to founding TENCorp, Mike worked as an International Project Manager for Nixdorf Computer and Notes Consultant for Sandpoint Corporation.
Mike has taught courses at MIT-Lowell Institute and Northeastern and has served on the Educational Board of Advisors for Blackstone Valley Regional Schools and the certification panel for CompTia. He holds a BA in Operations Management from UMass/Amherst and received his MBA from Babson College.
Mike is also a Contributing Editor at InformationWeek with a focus on business challenges of strategic technologies. His most recent work includes an analysis of the SaaS market, virtualization performance considerations, the challenge of Green IT, and the convergence of physical security.
