Mr. Danburg has over 30 years experience in the information technology field, with over 25 years in strategic business development. At En Pointe Technologies, he was the Information Security, and BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) expert and professional services overlay serving a 10 state area, and working with Minnesota, Indiana, and various private sector firms. Previously, he worked with telecommunication carriers and specialized managed services providers in the area data privacy and risk mitigation technology. He has also been involved in the communications hardware, software, and electronic component areas serving the role of participating and forming partnerships with such firms as Motorola, Johnson & Johnson, Symantec, Microsoft, Wang, FMC, AMP Inc. and Digital Equipment Corporation to lead and build national and international distribution.
In the U.S. Air Force, he served as an Operations Analyst and a COMSEC (Communications Security) NCO in a National Defense Data Center, performing real time data flow analysis and reacting to National Command Authority Information Requirements. During this time, Mr. Danburg led and participated in highly diverse cross-discipline, cross-military service branch teams and Allied Nations personnel to achieve necessary information gathering results.
As the Director of Security and Continuity, Mr. Danburg is responsible for strategic development activities, including Security and Continuity development. This includes educational presentations for national professional organizations, symposiums and trade shows. Additionally, he and the Emprimus experts, work to identify particular sectors and business segments of civil infrastructure that have vulnerabilities to the IEMI and needs for our solutions, as well as potential partners and standards organizations. Recently, his efforts have also been directed in the area of coordinating activity with federal agencies, including Department of Homeland Security, and with Congress in our efforts to "Protect our economy by protecting our Critical Civil Infrastructure."
