Frank Herbener is Product Line Manager for Rotary UPS in Piller Group GmbH in Germany. Holding a certified German degree in Electrical Engineering he joined Piller in 1994 as an R&D engineer, later being Project Leader developing one of Piller's big Rotary UPS Series.
With his deep knowledge in regulation he is responsible for integrating the Piller equipment into special customer applications like combining and integrating rotary UPS with a natural gas Co-Generation plant for a Semiconductor Fab in Germany and integrating Piller's rotary UPS into new UPS configurations like the Isolated-Parallel-System, for which he patented a new regulator scheme. In his actual position as a Product Line Manager he is also engaged in product improvement and in supporting international sales in all technical related questions.
