Benjamin Lanz received a BSEE degree from the University of Connecticut in 1999. Since 1997 he has worked for IMCORP (www.imcorptech.com) and now holds the position of Manager of Application Engineering. He was instrumental in the development of diagnostic technology and has extensive cable reliability program consulting and field testing experience. He is a voting member of the IEEE Power & Energy and Standards Societies. He served as Chairman of the Insulated Conductors Committee (ICC) workgroups responsible for cable testing and cable reliability. He has published several papers on cable reliability and diagnostics and regularly presents on the topics.
