Mr. Mark Gerard, President and Owner of D.P. Facilities Inc.(“DPF”) Engineering Design/Build Firm - Data Center Specialists in “Turnkey” solutions for data centers and telecommunication facilities and Computer-Site Air Conditioning & Fire Protection, specialist in Computer Facility Air Conditioning and FM-200 Fire Suppression Systems, and since 1983.

Since 1967 his company has been a leader in the "Turnkey" Single Responsibility Design Build Concept.. The company has designed, built, upgraded over 700 facilities on a "Turnkey" basis, Facilities" for Banks, Brokerage houses, Telecommunication companies and other Fortune 1,000 companies.

In the year 2000 Mr. Gerard expanded his horizons and co – founded Geographic Network Affiliates International Inc. a Real Estate development company who’s principle business is developing and owning Data Center Facilities/Buildings in USA, Europe & Asia totaling in excess of 400,000 sq.ft. Other services include facility and infrastructure management, and telecom collocation.

In 2006, “GEO” partnered in a Data Center development – 180,000 sq.ft. 36mw facility in the Netherlands. This included utilizing “Green Power” solutions for the data center in response to client initiatives.

In 2006, Mr. Gerard implemented new technology in data center cooling utilizing hot aisle - cold aisle concept for high density blade server application in the computer room. Designed and installed first high density air conditioning system on the east coast using Emerson-Liebert ceiling hung high density XD system. Customer racks were configured to 16Kw per cabinet.

In 2008 Mr. Gerard co-founded Greenstone EHF who’s mission is to develop Data Center Buildings in Iceland

Mr. Gerard is a former speaker at the 7 X 24 Exchange Conference with Rockefeller University and Emerson Liebert to present Emerson High Density Air Conditioning system.
