Educated at Santa Clara University, Bill Mazzetti has spent the past twenty-five years involved in the design and construction of complex commercial, institutional and industrial buildings throughout the US and Europe. An industry leader in mission-critical and Building Information Modeling (BIM) construction techniques, his recent credits include the California Academy of Science in San Francisco, and the new Symantec Campus in Culver City, CA.
For the past last twenty years his main focus has been in the conception, design, implementation, testing and operation of mission-critical facilities. To date, Bill has successfully completed over 300 mission-critical projects. Included amongst his clients are MasterCard International, the Department of Defense, Intel, Symantec, Digital Realty Trust, Bank of America, Visa, Time Warner Microsoft, Washington Mutual, Brigham Young University, Amdocs, amongst many others.
Bill has been either an author or reviewer for both of the data center industry's standards, the EIA/TIA 942, where he was on the industry reviewing panel; and BICSI/ANSI 002 Data Center Best Practices, where he is the Principal Author and Lead for the Electrical section. Bill is also one of select contributing authors for the BICSI Grounding & Bonding Standard. Both BISCI Standards are due to be published in late 2008.
Bill is also routinely published in several circulars as Consulting-Specifying Engineer, Design-Build Dateline, Data Center Manager and Building Operations & Maintenance. He is also a frequent speaker at Data Center Journal, 7x24 Exchange and AFCOM/DC World conferences.
Prior to joining Rosendin Electric, Bill spent fifteen years at Mazzetti & Associates, with the last twelve years as the President and Chairman, where the firm grew from 11 to 115 people and from one to five offices all while developing industry-leading expertise in the fields of mission-critical and health care facility consulting and design.
A registered engineer in 18 states, Bill is also an IEEE Life Member and holds a National Council of Engineering Examiners certification.
