Mr. Diamond has served the mission critical industry for nearly 25 years. John's experience in the operations and maintenance of critical sites, ranging from nuclear power plants to trading floor operations and brings an important understanding of human performance factors to the technology industry.
John joined Strategic Facilities in 2005 focusing on strategic site assessment, reliability analysis, and developing inter-corporate networks and benchmarking programs.
Prior to joining Strategic Facilities Inc (SFI) Mr. Diamond developed the mission critical platform for a global real estate firm managing over 20 million square feet of critical technology space. John has directly managed a 7.2 million square foot portfolio on behalf of Salomon Smith Barney and has project managed over $300M in technology infrastructures upgrades and new construction.
In addition to his experience in the corporate technology environment, John served the commercial nuclear industry as an engineer and manager of plant operations and maintenance divisions. John has brought many of the same practices and techniques from the nuclear industry to the management of high tech data centers.
John attended SUNY Maritime College and earned a BS Degree in Nuclear Engineering with a minor in Marine/Mechanical Engineering.
