Scott Harmolin is the Chief Executive Officer of Bastionhost Ltd. where he oversees the day-to-day operations of the company. In addition to charting Bastionhost's strategic course, he leads and manages the core team, and is responsible for the design and implementation of Bastionhost's services and product rollout. Mr. Harmolin has been recently involved in a variety of strategic and technical projects including the restart and repositioning of a cell phone text messaging company, and technical due diligence on a South American national data center and cable TV company for a venture capital firm. He was Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Centerseat Inc, a technology and media company focused on enhancing the value of media assets by cataloguing and associating them with related assets such as advertising inventory and commercial SKUs. He was the founder and Chief Technology Officer of Icon CMT Corp. Founded in 1991, Icon was a tier one national Internet solutions provider, until it was acquired by Qwest Communications for $180 million in December 1998. Icon's technical infrastructure included robust tier-one Internet backbone and hosting facilities on the east and west coasts of the United States. Under his leadership, Icon grew to 450 employees and $100 million in revenues, and successfully executed an IPO in 1998. As the chief architect who conceived and designed Icon's Internet and related products, Mr. Harmolin enabled Fortune 500 companies to increase market share and customer reach. While at Icon, Mr. Harmolin started and charted the course for each technical department and then handed each off to a professional management team. These included Professional Services, Networking, Hosting and Research and Development. Prior to founding Icon, he founded CAST Inc., a high-tech consultancy specializing in multi-platform systems integration and telecommunications, and Digital Business Machines, an integrator of PC platforms.
