Previously, Mr. Kava held several key senior director and management positions at Applied Materials. Most recently, he was the managing director of Global IT Operations, Corporate eBusiness Solutions, where he was responsible for all business operations for the corporate IT organization, including IT infrastructure asset management, internal business controls, governance and operations in 13 countries worldwide. Additional responsibilities included managing Information Security Systems, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, portfolio lifecycle management, quality management systems, and business process optimization, where he delivered operating cost reductions in excess of $20 million annually.
